There is increased demand for intruder and fire alarms, CCTV and manned guards in the UK, and this is spurring the growth of the private security industry, with security contractors and firms being the biggest beneficiaries. This growth was evident when a Solihull-based private security contractor announced that its turnover in 2016 had increased by £1 million.
Integrity Security Group has become one of the largest independent security companies in the UK. The company was founded in 2008 by two entrepreneurs, and it has grown by leaps and bounds. Today, it boasts a turnover of £3.5 million and has a workforce of more than 150 employees.
Integrity Security Group Co-Founder and Managing Director Tony Turner acknowledged that the company he founded with Will Adams has come a long way since its inception. He pointed out that when the company started, it had just two full-time employees – the two co-founders – and a few part-time employees.
The company started with the aim of delivering personalised security services and solutions, and it has always made an effort to customise its services to match the needs of its clients.
Turner said that Integrity Security Group’s first major customer was Hortons’ Estate, and it is still the company’s largest client. He also said that the company had managed to win new contracts in 2017 and was now providing security services to Lion FPG, Envira, CPN Systems, Jack Enterprises and Hellermann Tyton.
Integrity Security Group offers bespoke security solutions, from manned guarding services, mobile patrols and alarm response to event security, temporary guards and key holding. It also offers strategic consulting on security-related matters.
Co-Founder Will Adams said that since the company was independent, it had the ability to react quickly to the changing marketplace and to what the customers say. As a result, the company can design security measures that fulfil the customers’ needs.
