UK-based IT contractor Gibbs S3 has just signed a deal with World Wide Technology (WWT) to provide project-based staffing solutions to the global IT company. WWT is expanding across Europe, Africa and the Middle East, and will collaborate with Gibbs S3 to ensure its staff needs are met in the region.
The workforce solutions provider will assist WWT with finding permanent as well as temporary staff for its facilities. WWT already has an office in London to spur its expansion across Europe.
The signing of the agreement is an indication of the success of Gibbs S3’s innovative approach to meeting its clients’ staffing requirements. Gibbs S3 has witnessed an increase of 53 per cent in its annual revenue, and an annual net profit of 82 per cent.
Gibbs S3 founder and CEO Farida Gibbs stated that the deal with WWT was a major success for her organisation and was proof that the firm had the ability to customise its services to the needs of the customer. This, she believes, helps the company stand apart from its competitors. Gibbs added that the staffing solutions were developed after customer feedback and understanding their requirements. The company has the ability to adapt its solutions based on the customer’s needs and expectations.
WWT UK & Ireland Director Ben Boswell stated that his company had decided to collaborate with Gibbs S3 as it has a proven reputation among the FTSE 100 organisations for being a service-oriented firm that provides workforce for big data, collaboration, data centres and cyber security. Boswell added that the IT contractor had proven its ability to add to WWT’s skill set with talent.
WWT is a technology integrator providing cutting-edge technology and supply chain solutions to large public and private organisations across the world. It currently employs 3,000 people in more than 20 facilities globally.
